missed withdrawl bleed...

Not sure if this is the correct place to put this but, am on the pill and took last one of pack on Sunday night, am now on 7 day break and have usually started bleeding by now but so far nothing. Should I take the next pack next week even if nothing happens? It is very unlikely that I am pregnant, so would there be another cause for this? Would really appreciate a response.

It's perfectly possible to not have a bleed between packs, for no particular reason. So if you don't have any reason to think you may be pg (missed or late pills, vomiting, bad diarrhea) then you should probably just start the new pack on the usual day.

rainbow, my w/d bleed suddenly started coming much later in my pillfree week, a few months ago; even now, it sometimes doesnt arrive till the firs tday of the new packet. I would start your new packet as normal but maybe do a pg test if you think you could be.

Hi again, managed to leave a message for my doctor at the surgery and they have got back to me saying yes just start the next pack when I normally would, they didnt even mention anything about pregnancy. Thanks for the comments though - mumsnet is great when you just want an opininon but dont nescessarily want to ask anyone you know! (if you know what I mean).
