Do different blood pressure meds affect sys/dia differently?

Just curious really; recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and just started ramipril. Only on day 3 but I've noticed that it's had a good effect on my SYS numbers - the top number, bringing it's down from around 150 to under 130. Minimal difference to the DIA (bottom number) only changing from around 90 to around 85. I'll have a review with my gp in a couple of weeks but just curious is it's possible/likely that I'll need a different medication to bring down the dia number? Or maybe just an increased dose?

Will take a while to work properly. Also look at caffeine intake.

Yes it is still dropping thanks, I was just curious. As I'm not a coffee drinker I don't have much caffeine really - couple of cups of tea and occasional can of coke only.
