Has anyone else been diagnosed with middle frequency hearing loss or cookie cutter hearing loss as it is called in the States? I have had it from birth but wasn't diagnosed until a few years ago. I've bought hearing aids on the advice of the consultant I saw but I think they are causing as many problems as they are solving. Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has the condition and has found an audiologist and/or hearing aids that worked. I feel like I am the only person with the condition!
