Double vision - any ophthalmologists??

My daughter (15) has double vision. She’s had two operations to try and correct it but both have failed. She’s got glasses for a prescription that should help a little bit. She’s tried exercises too.

we saw the ophthalmologist today who’s said her ‘binocular control’ has declined considerably since her last appointment. It’s gone from 12 and 6, to 6 and 4.

The ophthalmologist wouldn’t expand on this info (she was very abrasive and rude). All she said was that she didn’t think anything would help due to my daughter having a muscle condition.

what does this mean long term??
will she be able to do normal things if the decline carries on??

im so confused.

You need to talk to consultant about this as the ops have not worked.

she was discharged following the second op. I asked the optometrist today if dd should be referred back to the consultant and I was told a stern ‘no point!’
