Any dentists or anyone who knows about facial nerves on here?

Ok, so a few years ago I had dental work done on front two teeth. I had two anesthetic injections under top lip, either side of frenulum, injections were directed upwards behind nose, if that makes sense. Anyway the injections were really quite painful at the time. My question is, are there any nerves in that area that could have been damaged resulting in burning/tingling feelings in mouth and tongue, and which nerve would it be? Dentist says no, but I'm just interested in a 2nd opinion.
Thanks!

No. It is a painful area to inject because of the close proximity to the nose - lots of nerves in general in that area but to cause burning/ tingling in the mouth and tongue - not possible (especially the tongue - completely different nerve)

@RobinHumphries that's good to know, thanks so much for replying. I developed problems the week after treatment, hopefully now my mind can accept that it's purely coincidental!
