Bone Profile (C124)

LFT (C127)

HbA1c (C130)

Vitamin D (C402)

FBC (H005)

no it's not. They're a bunch of requests and codes not the results of the requests.
@ OP it looks like a pretty broad set of tests which could cover any number of thought processes the GP had (all the terms are googleable if you're after much more specific info).

Nogodsnomasters · 05/03/2024 16:33

Sorry I thought that was the results.

Looks like standard blood test results. I don't live in the uk but we are offered these yearly to check our general health. They look the same as mine just general health checks

ELU - measures urea and electrolytes to see if your kidneys are functioning.

Bone Profile - measures minerals and enzymes in the bones, calcium and phosphate etc. Used for checking liver and thyroid function, and for ruling out bone diseases like osteoporosis etc.

LFT - checks to see if your liver is working properly.

HbA1c - blood sugar, to see if you’re diabetic.

CRP - measures the level of a protein that your liver makes. High levels can mean you have a condition that’s causing inflammation.

Vitamin D - to see if you have a Vit D deficiency.

FBC - full blood count, to see if you have enough blood cells and if they’re the right size and distance apart etc. It can identify conditions like anaemia.

AUTO DIFF - looks at your white blood cells to see if you have an infection, inflammation, etc.

These are all very general and it sounds like the GP is doing some exploratory tests because they don’t know what’s wrong with you. What are your symptoms?

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated.

I've been having very vague symptoms for almost two years. I've been backwards and forwards and seen a tonne of different GPS but no one has done any tests saying it was just because I was a new mum and I also have anxiety disorders. But I KNOW that something is wrong. I do hav diagnosed gallstones though so this could relate to the LFT? Vague symptoms such as, lightheaded and dizziness, bine and muscle aches, exhaustion, fatigue, headaches, sickness, gastro symptoms, pins and needles, numbness, palpitations, chest pain, weakness.

I had most of your symptoms if not all and three different gps told me to go onto sertraline and I finally agreed and all my symptoms have now gone. I'm not saying that anxiety is the only thing that can cause all these symptoms though, but it was the cause for me. Do you take or do anything for your anxiety?

I have therapy for my anxiety and have done for many years. I have phases where it's more severe than others. I've had it for 14 years and I just feel like it's not the anxiety because I have ways to help me cope now and I've never had these kinds of symptoms with it before until two years ago after my son was born. I feel like it all started since he was born and has just got gradually worse.

Could be low B12 op

Lumiodes · 06/03/2024 10:55

I have similar. I’ve been told it could be anxiety, coeliac disease, vitamin deficiencies, Lyme disease, long Covid. As yet they haven’t found a cause. Recently a specialist said it could be related to perimenopause.

My GP is l am NG towards fibromyalgia now. All these bloods I had yesterday tests was normal. I'm only 31 so I don't think mine would be perimeno
