Bruise for three months

I've had a largish bruise on my leg, about 1.5 inches in diameter, for over 3 months. I got it from walking into a piece of furniture. It's at that brown/yellow stage and doesn't seem to be getting any better, and still hurts if I press it. I just noticed a couple of small bruises on the other leg but I don't think they've been there for long. None anywhere else. Should I be concerned?

Googling brought up a lot of info about leukaemia. I'm not bruising
more easily than usual and I don't have excessive bleeding (a single nosebleed, which I don't normally have, about 2 months ago, and a couple of early periods in a row, but nothing else) or night sweats. Appetite is normal, no breathlessness, no fever. So I don't think it's that. I did have a respiratory infection which kept coming back for weeks and am now dealing with fatigue as a result of that, but almost everyone I know seems to have had that this winter.

I don't want to waste the GP's time for a simple bruise if it will just heal, but I am surprised that it still hasn't gone away. Any similar experiences? Thank you.
