I had a hernia repair just over a month ago & am mainly recovering well but I often feel full very quickly. I wasn’t a big eater before. Has this happened to anyone else & did it last for long?

Didn't want to read and run

What type of hernia ?

I had a parasopgegal hernia repaired and was on a special eating plan prior to surgery , after surgery I could only have black tea, herbal teas, oxo drink fir 2 weeks and then I moved slowly onto pureed food - but it was a very less common very large hernia that has caused me a problem with my stomach etc - it took a while to get back to normal

What did the surgical team recommend /suggest

I had a hernia repair when I was 30 and for ages felt full on very little but I was told because it was a big hernia it had been pressing down on organs and they would take a while to sort themselves about again

BeaLola it was umbilical. I didn’t have any advice about eating after my op.
