Worried about daughter

She started complaining about a stomach ache about 2 hours ago. Last year she suffered from bad anxiety about being sick / stomach aches so to begin with I thought it might be that rearing it’s head again.

She started to get to get really distressed so I ran her a bath, but she didn’t want it. She was pacing the room and I thought she was going to be sick. I’m now lying in bed and she’s fallen fast asleep which she never ever does.

She’s 7.

Is it possible to have a stomach bug type thing without being sick?

Could be appendicitis. It often starts as stomach ache/ pain in centre before moving to the right hand side. I thought I had gastroenteritis when I had it (diagnosed by GP) the pain then got worse and moved over. It is common to be sick though.
Classic test is to press down on her belly, where her appendix is, and then let go. If it's more painful when you release the pressure it could be that.
I'd call 111 if you are worried.
My DS had an emergency appendix removal aged 9. He couldn't straighten out when lying down and only wanted to curl up. Another sign.

I don’t think it’s appendix. I did the standing on one leg test and she seemed fine.

@Theworldismadness i know it seems like a daft question but I’ve only had experiences of being sick with stomach bugs.

she seems so wiped out. No temp so just seems odd.

My daughter would have a similar thing at the same age when she was very tired. Almost like a migraine without the headache. She would have vision changes and feel sick. She improved after a good sleep.
