So anxious while waiting for abdominal scan

For two weeks now I've been having abdominal cramping and pain specifically on the left side - it is always there but is worse sometimes and slightly better at others. Blood test clear, waiting for an urgent abdominal ultrasound. I'm so worried I've got ovarian cancer.

Hey! Did you find out what this was? As I have been getting similar symptoms but bloods all normal x

No I didn't specifically find out what was causing it but the scan was clear with regards to ovaries thankfully. I think it was probably IBS related and maybe diverticulitis. It improved a lot after I stopped eating oats every day so I think that was the trigger for me. Hope you get to the bottom of what's causing yours.

Thank you so much for replying. There is IBS & diverticulitis in my family (dad & brother) so hopefully it might be that. Not that it’s great. I might try cutting out things from my diet. Glad your symptoms have eased :)
