I was in hospital with quinsy last week, this was after a failed 10 day course of antibiotics.
I've been taking 2 different antibiotics this time, but here we are again, at the 7 day mark (before the course is finished) and it's coming back. My throat is feeling all tickly and furry which is what happened last time, until it developed into pain + abscess. I'm starting to feel shivery and fluey.
I saw my first post on here about my horrendous sore throat was on 2nd Feb, almost a month ago.
I could honestly cry, I've not been well for a month and it's starting to seriously interfere with life, work, looking after the DC. I cannot deal with another bout and am freaking out about what option is left?
If it's antibiotic-resistant, then what next? Any experience of this and positive outcomes welcome.
