have had pain in my upper right hand side on and off for a few months now. I don’t often drink alcohol (have drank four times since the start of the year) but has been promoted twice now the day after drinking.
i went for a blood test this morning and the doctor called me this afternoon which freaked me out. My GGT levels are 159 which is really high and over the limit 😫 and ALT raised at 62.
a scan last year in May found I have NAFLD. I haven’t put on any weight since then but haven’t lost loads either. My bmi is 35 and needs to come down.
doctor said it could be bile duct issues or gall stones but wants to do some tests to see.
