How to improve flexibility?

I am 28 and have noticed lately thatmy flexibility has really gone down hill this past year. I can't touch my toes, sit cross legged, and all my joints click.

How can I improve - for free? I can't afford classes.

Hi, you could try yoga that really helps to improve flexibility but you have to be sure to start out really slowly. Invest in a good at home instruction dvd and then there's no need to pay for classes. Alternatively swimming is good if you're looking for something that's low impact exercise but there's the cost of swim sessions. Lots of leisure centres give good discounts though if you pay for monthly swim membership and you could pay as little as a few pounds a week for unlimited use. But yoga would def. work a treat.
