I have over active bladder. Triggered by certain foods and drinks, which I actively avoid. I've been through hell over the last 10 years or so with it - thinking I have a UTI, the dr testing and saying no. I have overactive bladder type symptoms but cannot find the trigger. Things then improving but then getting worse again for no apparent reason. It's just a nasty cycle which ruins my quality of life.

For the last 2 days I have had a continuous urge to pee. A dribble only comes out. It's not a UTI. It started randomly Saturday night. after a dinner out. Not sure if I have unknowingly had a (new) trigger food. I don't think so. The pee is clear. I am now effectively trapped at home. I cannot go out anywhere eg long car/bus rides with this. I have a minor medical procedure today, not related to my bladder, which I have been on the waiting list for 2 years for. How the hell am I going to be able to sit though that without needing the toilet ? I cannot cancel.

If this is my new fresh hell, then life is not worth carrying on with.

That's awful OP and needs an urgent GP appointment, don't be fobbed off. Meanwhile get pads, pants etc as you need.

Do you not have meds for the overactive bladder? Solifenacin works very well.

Iknow it's a bit late but I've just been checked for my overactive bladder. I've been told there are meds for it (that cause constipation, a whole other issue) or botox.
I'm actively considering getting botox!

I had this turned out to be a gluten allergy. Took a few months to resolve
