I went to work the week before last and I was a close contact with someone who was coughing and sneezing with a cold. She likely had a sore throat too.
Last weekend I felt something come on me. My only exposure would have been in work so it was no surprise and I presume it was the same thing.
Usually with a cold I can usually fight it reasonably quickly. I drink fluids and take meds.
I'm now worse than ever despite doing my usual stuff. I now have sore ears, sore throat, phelgm, heartburn, cough. These are all cold like symptoms. But not only that it feels like I have a flu with body aches and pains but surprising no nausea or v&d.
Surprisingly not really much of a fever either. The highest I found was 37.7 but I am taking regular meds so maybe that might conceal a fever.
I got flu and COVID jabs earlier in the winter.
The head cold is bad but the aching body makes it so much worse and it's so unusual.
Is anyone else experiencing the same?
