Kidney issues - high creatinine and eGFR

I have just had some tests back and the following results are near top or outside the reference range
Creatinine 103 (range 53-106)
total protein 79 (range 64-78)
eGFR 50.6 (range 80 to 120) I understand this is calculated from creatinine but does look worryingly low

I am wondering if they are cause for concern. I am currently weight training and eat quite a high protein diet. I stupidly exercised before the test as I thought it might help the blood draw. Would this affect results? All other tests incl albumin and glubulin look ok. I did have a mild uti last week which I took d-mannose for for around 10 days, would this affect things?

I had the test privately as a freebee add on for something else so these results were quite unexpected.

Excercise if vigorous enough to cause some muscle breakdown can increase creatinine yes. You can check what your GFR is for someone of your weight using this which might be more reassuring if you are bigger or more muscles than someone of your gender and age average Calculator

Creatinine Clearance (Cockcroft-Gault Equation)

The Creatinine Clearance (Cockcroft-Gault Equation) predicts Creatinine Clearance from serum Creatinine.
