How bad is this symptom

I will start this by saying I have used my private medical insurance and have been referred for a head MRI by an online gp (I am lucky I work for an online GP organisation)

Around a month ago I got a random pulse in the middle of My head. It wasn't consistent like a heart beat but maybe once every minute or few minutes. No pain, no headache, no vision issues etc. This has happened every day since for around 20 minutes max each day. No pattern, can happen when relaxed. I can actually feel the spasm with My hand if I put it on my head.

I have been having some shoulder issues on the same side so am really hoping it could be nerve related.

But I also have incredibly bad anxiety and health anxiety so have convinced myself it is a brain tumour, anurism or blood clot of some kind. I have also been through a very stressful period recently. I suffer with migraine with aura but have not had one in the last month.

Honestly I am preparing myself for bad news. Is there any chance at all this could be nothing really serious?

Wait for the MRI. I have a shoulder issue but haven't had this. On the other hand I have eye problems and do get throbbing like yours due to an increase in pressure

Does your throbbing have pain? Mine is totally painless. Just out of interest.

Also to clarify when I say middle I mean midway back, not temples or front. It is always on the same side
