just wondered what everyone’s experience was like after coming off the pill?

I took my last pill on 4th October 2023.
got a withdrawal bleed 6 weeks later. then my first and second period after that we’re very heavy and long.
then my period was 2 days long.
and now my period is due. All I’m getting a brown discharge with clots. Very light not enough to fill a pad.

ive come off the pill in the past and everything went back to normal straight away so this is very unusual for me.

I have had an experience similar to yours. My periods took about 3-4 months to go normal if not even longer. I guess it may depend on the different pills or even how long you had been on it for? I stopped mine after a good few years and had shorter discolored bleeds initially I definitely remember the brown colour as if it was old blood, i think mine even appeared to have an unpleasant odor. Sorry if tmi, it should all return to normal soon though
