Nose pressure/pain when stressed?

Does anyone else get this? I’m getting a bit paranoid that it’s high blood pressure or something.

So my job has been high stress on and off and I do suffer free floating anxiety unfortunately so it’s hard to separate out.

The last few weeks I keep getting this, every time I get stressed I get this pressure pain feeling in my nose! Sounds silly but it freaks me out a bit because I worry it’s my blood pressure. Anyone else get it?

I don’t have an answer sadly but I get exactly the same as you, along with various other symptoms. It’s scary I know x

Blood pressure monitors are relatively cheap now to buy yourself or most pharmacists for health checks. It could be your blood pressure but yes very easy to rule it out yourself x

@Nooneknows99 Sorry to hear that, have you had your blood pressure checked out?

i get nose pain when I have a headache, so I expect it’s related to tension headaches.

@ZippyZappyZoo yeah it does come on when I’m stressed. I think I just panic because I have a strong family history of circulatory accidents at young age. Getting checked out soon though.

So just to update with a conclusion, bought a digital blood pressure machine and had DH do a few manual ones. Had one high spike when he took it but think that was us stressing each other!

Have consistently had around 110/65 evening and morning so thinking my headaches are my sinus problems flaring up or tension headaches due to stress which is a wake up call about my job and need to reduce stress!! Thanks.
