sesamoiditis

I have self diagnosed myself with sesamoiditis.
I randomly started with a pain in my big toe which quickly travelled to the bottom of my foot underneath it.
It's been there a few days and it's really tough to walk on.
I'm a bigger for not taking pain killers. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I remembered to keep on top!
Has anyone ever had it before? Any tips?!
Online says ready and maybe a ankle boot but as a single mum of two who has to commute to school and has no help I can't really just sit in the sofa and relax :(

Are there any vitamins/painkillers which are best? Could vitamin d help?
