Hi, I had a CT angiogram a few weeks ago and my cardiologist has just received and reviewed them and I was told I would get the results in the post some time this week,
However I received an CT thorax with contrast today for 2 weeks time,
Is this normal or does it generally mean that they have seen something on the angiogram?
I couldn't have a traditional angiogram as I had surgery on my groin due to necrotising facshitis ( from an arterial line)
I have a diagnosis of prinzmetal angina and AF already
The reason for CT angiogram was the fact my troponin levels were over 7000 in ITU
Thanks

No one can tell you that online without knowing the results of your imaging, your history and background.
Sorry. Hope its nothing. Might just be to double check.
