Has anyone had an MRCP with normal bloods and had a letter for appointment with a surgeon not even a week after the scan? I am so so scared. I was referred through a&e and they told me they weren't expecting anything to show on the scan due to normal bloods but now I've had an urgent appointment made within a week? I did call the department and they told me the surgeon specifically asked them for me to have an appointment within one week.
I'm really worried now, my symptoms are upper stomach pain on and off and nausea and sometimes vomiting.
I did have an ultrasound last year which was normal but slowed a slightly distended bile duct, no gallstones and normal presenting gallbladder when I had it. Could it still be a gallbladder issue? I would be lying if I wasn't worried about the C word
