My tongue

Noticed that my tongue is not smooth on one side and has this bobbly bit. It’s not sore. Is this normal. Dentist booked for general check up in March. I have health anxiety.

Slightly serated edge, so ask your dentist about lichen planus (which is very rarely anything much to worry about).

I have a few of these bumps. I’ve put it down to scarring as I get an awful lot of mouth ulcers, since teen years.

Could be geographical tongue. Absolutely harmless but totally sucks and nothing can be done about it sadly except use decent toothpaste and avoid acidic foods, caffeine and alcohol
