Sore to touch 😢

I’ve had a cyst here before, I have health anxiety so I’m panicking like crazy and I can’t get an apt at my gp😢
it’s sore to touch but doesn’t have a head on it or anything. Any advice x

Call 111 (they might be able to get you an appointment with a GP) or visit your local pharmacy.
I had a similar lump behind my ear and was advised by the pharmacist in Boots to see my GP. I had an infection which needed antibiotics.

My daughter had an excellent experience with 111 last Friday evening.
She felt a UTI coming on and called 111 at 8pm. Within 2 hours a doctor had called her, prescribed antibiotics and we had collected them from a late night pharmacy 6 miles away. She started to feel better by the next morning and is fine now.

To me, it looks like a spot and you've made the area a bit angry by fiddling with it obsessively due to your anxiety. It's okay. Nothing bad is going to happen with it if you leave it to see how it is tomorrow. Feel free to check in again tomorrow if you need reassurance.

Leave it alone. Stop fiddling with it, and it will go away. It's nothing to worry about.

This is it now, I have just been to the gp who has prescribed antibiotics but I’m so anxious! She’s said it looks like an infected cyst. I’m really worried 😟 her words made me panic because she said If it doesn’t go away after the course of antibiotics then go back and I said what happens if it doesn’t. She said let’s not talk about that she said she thinks it will but my anxiety is terrible x
