Hello!

Has anyone else ever had their first nosebleed as an adult? Even as a child I can't ever remember having one but over the weekend I've had two. First one felt quite bad, and lasted around 15 mins. Second one wasn't quite as bad, although still felt like a lot of blood.

No illness/cold, and I can't think of any reason why I'd have had them.

I had my first nose bleed in my mid 20's. I was 5 or 6 months pregnant at the time (not sure if that's relevant). Just randomly started bleeding. Took a while to stop. Don't think I've had one since!

Had your blood pressure checked recently?

Me! Last week, mid 40s. It wasn't a big one. I fainted and hurt myself afterwards and doctors all said that nosebleeds are nothing to worry about.

Oo, I have had them restart as an adult. I did have them as a kid but I think that was related to nose picking. I started having them semi-regularly a couple of years ago, then realised I was getting them during ovulation and apparently that's not uncommon. My cycles have changed a lot in the past few years (perimenopause I think?)
