My DP gave birth to our DS over 7 weeks ago. She is still experiencing pains in her pelvis area, and she's finding it uncomfortable to walk, climb stairs or even lying in bed. Is this normal or should she see her GP?

Gp just in case.

I think that is very unusual. I would get it checked out as soon as possible.

Did she have a six week post-natal check? If so what did they say?

bubblepop · 22/03/2008 16:59

send her to gp for check up

it sounds like Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction , it should disapear soon, but go the docs if still concerned

Thank you all for your replies. I looked up SPD and she thinks it sounds like it could be that, poor love. Think we'll probably go to docs to double check.
