Hi all, I’m rather concerned about my husband. 2 weeks ago today, he had the most horrendous migraine accompanied by chills and hot flashes and he was sweaty.
Everyday since, he has suffered with headaches, raging temperature (last night he woke up and was 38.4 and was very clammy) and increased thirst (have never known him to drink so much!)
This has now been ongoing for 2 weeks. We saw the GP last Monday who took his blood sugar levels. The first test he said it was low, the second he said it was normal. He wasn’t too worried and said it was probably a virus and to come back in a week if symptoms are still present. I will be trying to get another appointment tomorrow.
In the meantime, has anyone else experienced similar? There is diabetes in the family. I am concerned this all started after the extreme headache..
Thank you for taking the time to read.

No, only a finger prick blood sugar test. Then the usual, throat and ears check.
