Sinuses not talking to each other

I've had one vile cold flu god know, after another each lasts about three weeks then starts up again the beginning of

When I tried a nasal pot thing, hoping it would help, absolutely nothing came out the "other" side. No matter how much liquid I squirted up one nostril, head over the sink this way, that way... nada. Is it possible to be so bunged up that this happens? Or should I see a doctor (hollow laugh)?

I hope I’m wrong but might you have a polyp? Or a deviated septum?
Maybe try steaming to see if that helps.
Otrivine is good but only for short term use.

Thank you - yes that sounds about right ... then went one step further and googled sinus cancer so am now in rather a state. GP for me asap
