Cysts on thyroid - anyone?

Hi! Has anyone ever done an ultrasound on the thyroid where they found cysts but said nothing to worry about but still sending you to a specialist . Was everything okay? I need some reassurance as I’m starting to panic. Thank you

Friend had this, it got so big that she could feel it when swallowing, so it was aspirated under ultrasound with local anaesthetic. They are trying not to have to remove it.

I have this, a collection of smaller and larger cysts.

They are benign and generally don't bother me. In the past one has got very large and I had it aspirated with local anesthetic as it was putting pressure on my windpipe and causing me to cough/run out of breath while talking.

Doctor told me that the vast majority of people would likely have cysts on their thyroid if you US them.

Is it causing you problems?
