Antibiotics - preventing vomiting

After 7 days of strep which wasn't resolving I've had to start on antibiotics. It's a 10 day course 😭, and after just one day I'm already feeling nauseous, stomach burning and bowels making awful sounds.

I'll still take that any day over the horrendous throat pain and abscess, but I need to find ways to make it through the 10 day course.

Last time I ended up vomiting and not keeping the ABs down and had to stop the course early (doctors advice) but I know it's not ideal and should be avoided where possible. So can you please share your tips to get me through the next 9 days?

Ask the GP to prescribe some anti sickness tablets, I always get them with antibiotics.

Oh really? That's a relief if it's an option. I wonder why they didn't suggest this to me last time and just said to stop taking them! Thank you that's reassuring.
