Ovarian cyst?

I woke up today some bleeding which may be my period- periods irregular just now as breastfeeding. Suddenly late morning I got excruciating pain and pressure across my bottom. This was a god awful pain- enough to make me sweat, go dizzy and almost vomit. It lasted roughly an hour and a half 2 hours and has subsided now although I still feel uncomfortable and unwell. It felt almost like a mixture of labour pain and pain similar to when I’ve had a gallstone attack- but in my womb.

could this be an ovarian cyst? Anyone had similar? I’ve to see my GP later today for an emergency appointment.

It does sound like a burst ovarian cyst yes.

Would that sort of peak then settle down to live of a dull ache?

I've never had one burst but from what I know of them, yes! They hurt a lot when they burst, then it reduces. Did you find out anything at your appointment?

I've to go get bloods today and ultrasound requested. So hoping find out a bit more. Thank you
