Non-blanching rash

Hi all

i have namechanged for posting this pic but I frequent other boards. DH noticed this non-blanching rash on his chest yesterday after a shower, it looks to me like petechiae. It isn’t itchy and he hasn’t scratched or injured the area.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this and is this something we should be concerned about? Does this warrant a call to the GP?

Seat belt strap mark maybe or a heavy laptop bag? I get that after carrying a heavy bag

Unless he has other concerning symptoms alongside the rash - flu like or v&d etc then no I'd keep an eye on it and it should disappear in a day or two.
Even mild pressure can cause petechiae, my son gets it under his eyes if he cries too hard. I get it on my inner arm from carrying heavy shopping bag.

It could potentially be from carrying his laptop bag, I can discuss this with him at home.

He had a couple days there of bad diarrhoea and feeling lethargic and run down..
