Got an ear infection been given antibiotics. Is it normal to still have tinnitus after 3 days? The ringing has not gone away at all is quite high pitched and effecting my hearing I've had it for 3 days as well as the earache in general although the pain is easing the ringing is persistent. Thank you

Yes my sister's went away after 11 days and she lost some of her hearing aswell

I have had earache for about 3 year now and also tinnitus on and off.. been doctors not always an infection there so she cant see anything.. so not getting sent for further tests i am in perimenopause/menopause could this be connected..

Maybe it's vertigo and that is excessive fluod behind the ear I think.. have u ever tried the head exercise my aunt swears by it
