Blurry vision in one eye

My dh has had blurry vision in one eye come on gradually over a couple of days. He wears glasses. 3 years ago he had a stroke and then last year he had another one. Both were fleeting and he wasn't left with any issues...takes clopidogrel and statin every day now.
Could this be a sign that he's had a TIA or another stroke? He'll go to the optician on Monday, but I'm just worrying.

I'd call 111 for advice now. Don't mess with your eyesight.

He's not home at the moment. He's not back until late. Could go to the optician tomorrow. I'm really worrying now. He'll tell me I'm being ridiculous.

It could be something of concern so better to get it checked before Monday. I had blurred vision in one eye that came on suddenly and it was optic neuritis. Another possibility is a retinal detachment. It’s not normal for this to happen in one eye and indicates something is wrong. I contacted my optician, was seen immediately then sent straight to the eye causality.

He has a retinal tear and having laser treatment this afternoon.
