Pneumonia jab

I've booked to have this at Boots pharmacy. I'm 52 and care for my mum full time. I am in good health but I do get run down with the caring.
Anyone else had this jab ? It also gives some protection from meningitis

DH and I got it right at the start of 2020, when we were 59 - it was pretty obvious we were on the threshold of a pandemic and it just seemed sensible to mitigate against other infections if we could. Iirc no side effects whatever.

Yes, I’ve had it and would recommend it.

I’ve had it. Definitely recommend getting it. Mine was at Boots and cost £70.
No serious chest infections since. Used to get them badly each winter.

Thank you for replying everyone. Hoping that Boots will let me have the jab

I had it on the nhs recently. I’m 44 but about to start some treatment which will destroy my immune system. Arm hurt a lot but that was it x
