Poorly for weeks one side of head pain sickness and fever

I took a COVID test multiple times and it's not COVID. I have a temperature on and off controlled with paracetamol and I've been sick, shaking but the worst thing is the constant pain on the right side of my head that will not go with the strongest painkillers. Has anyone had anything like this before? I can't get a doctor's appointment.

Do you wake with the headache?
Tbh, having a fever is provably encouraging; it suggests a viral infection which will settle.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

Could it be a sinus infection? I’m often sick when I have them.
maybe contact your GP

Yes possibly a sinus infection. Yes the headache is constant and I've had it every day for 3 weeks straight. I can't sleep due to the constant pain on one side. Been ringing the GP every day and get told no appointments left. Considered a and e but then thought it's more of a primary care problem. Thank you.

Call 111 if you can't get a GP appointment.

I posted on a similar thread recently. I had a headache for 12 days straight , the last few days of that I needed to be in the dark all the time and also vomited a couple of times. Got to the point where I was rubbing voltarol gel into my head as paracetamol and ibuprofen were doing nothing and that was when I decided I should see the doc. Sharpest pain was localised on the top left side of my skull but was radiating.
GP sent me straight to A&E where I had CT and lumbar puncture was diagnosed with viral meningitis.

There wasn't really any specific treatment other than rest and painkillers but it helped to know what I was dealing with and that it wasn't life threatening. Also felt better about getting signed off work with VM rather than phoning in and saying I've got a headache!
