another tummy bug for ds in two mtns - advice please

I was called out of work yesterday pm as ds and been quite sick. Got him home and was badly sick again. Kept giving him fluids but by 5pm he asked for something to eat gave him bit of banana - sicked it all and some 10 mins later. 7pm gave him watered down milk 4 0z - 10 mins later all back again. Only gave him water in night and bf this am - just sicked all back up.

This is the second bug last this in less than 3 mths -last time he was sick all week.

Just worried its somthing more than the normal toddler at nursery illness. He gets everything going. Since being at nursery a year he has had 4 nasty stomach bugs.

Any advice out there would be most appreciated

I found with my DS now 4 when it was difficult to keep fluids down I would give him a icecube to suck and just continue with small sips of water as often as possible. I can remember that for about 3 months after starting nursery he had every bug going but became more immune to the various strains after 6 months. Hope he is feeling better soon .

thanks poglasellen will try that - he has been at nursery for a year nearly, i too hoped it would have slowed down a bit by now
