Started off about a month ago diagnosed by hospital with pneumonia then a week and half after taking antibiotics came down with a really bad cold had 2 days where I felt ok and now got what I can only describe as some kind of tummy bug intense nausea but only vomited once - serious runs.

i am just so sick of my life at the moment. Its just one thing after another when is it going to end??

has anyone else been in this situation at all or is going through similar?

I have 2 young children and feel so guilty that I have not been able to do normal things with them.

Yep. Since November had UTI then covid, another cough/cold topped off with labyrinthitis. Today was my first day back at work this year. Logged off at 5, in bed snoozing by quarter past!

Have you had severe covid recently?

How is your immune system?
Rather than taking vitamins etc, ask the doc for a blood test, a full blood test but ensure it inc an Immunoglobulin blood Test - it may be inc but ask - that will show any weakness - one can have a weak immune system for various reasons - and these can be something simple to anyhitng, EG just a poor diet, not enough sleep, recent cold/flue/covid viruses etc - but speak with doc as best to sort it early

Try to eat well, sleep, seek support, extra support for your OH/family, this too will help - but do seriously consider see doc

I have no idea about my immune system but by the looks of it it’s not very good! Yeah I am going to book an appointment once this d and v goes away and get some bloods done! Thank you x

Sorry youre feeling so poorly hope it goes away soon, maybe picked up something from the children? We havent been well since december aswell so fed up with it feels like its never gonna end x lots of children ill at school, teachers said and lasts long whatever it is... god knows whats going around at the moment, dont plan testing for covid whats the point...

To be honest my kids are 8 and 11 now and are never ill!! I honestly don’t know where I pick it up from as I work from home as well! Hope everyone is feeling better soon 🌺

Sounds awful OP. What steps are you usually taking to look after your health and well being and immune system? How's your diet, are you taking supplements, do you exercise? What's your sleep like? Mental health?

If these are not in a good place then you will keep getting sick unfortunately.

I feel the same and I’m totally fed up. I’ve got a bad cold at the moment, with diarrhoea and nausea, as well as congestion and a sore throat.
last autumn I had proper flu where I was in bed for over a week and was left with a cough for two months afterwards (it was probably a chest infection as I was coughing up phlegm for two months).
I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I totally relate.
