Breathing Exercise for acid reflux

I came across this on YouTube, and I’m interested in seeing what other people think of it. It’s a simple breathing exercise that takes about 30 seconds. I think you’re supposed to repeat it, It sounds too good to be true, but as my acid reflux has come back, I’ve decided to give it a go. Something I noticed is that the first time it was really hard, but it was then easier. Its supposed to work by relaxing your diaphragm:

I haven’t persisted with the exercise, I think maybe my reflux and coughing problem might have been too severe for it to help.

Have you tried using an iquora? They have become very expensive to buy, I’m using one which I bought a few years ago.

Have you read either the Acid Watcher Diet by Dr. J. Aviv or Dr. Kaufman’s acid reflux diet? I’ve got both books, their diets are slightly different, but very similar. Dr. Kaufman recommends drinking alkaline water. I’ve been making my own by adding 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to a litre of water. I’ve been following the diet, drinking the water, using the iquora, also taking omeprazole for 10 days (twice a day),sleeping semi-upright, and I think I’ve now gained control of the acid reflux. I think the alkaline water is really helping.

Have you found anything that helped?
