How quick is urgent referral?

Hi, my gp has done an urgent referral to ENT, not cancer related but in response to my ongoing symptoms and the results of an mri I had last week. How quickly are urgent referrals happening? I'm in the West Midlands. In my head I'm thinking within 2 weeks, but am I being unrealistic?? Routine referrals are taking 22 weeks apparently so who knows how long I'll be waiting. Anyone had an urgent referral still take months??

I don’t know about where you are but in my area, the target is 2 weeks. I think I was offered an appointment within 10 days for my urgent referral a few months ago.
