This is a long shot but has anyone else ever experienced something similar? I'm suffering from Constipation (going every 3-4 days) I'm getting some back back and almost like trapped wind In my stomach on and off. I had a baby 6 months ago and I'm so scared I could have colon or bowel cancer . I'm getting my bloods done on Thursday but what else can I get done for this? Could it be anything else other than cancer

It could be any number of things such as an intolerance to a certain food group, IBS, IBD. How long have the symptoms been going on for?

@Nogodsnomasters it's been going on about 3 months now

Lower back pain is a symptom of constipation and/or IBS. Have you tried any over the counter methods from the chemist yet?

@Nogodsnomasters thank you. The only thing I've tried is fybogel I think it's called which I didn't find much good. I'm going to go to gp on Thursday and see what's going on .

Fybogel can be too harsh. I’d try a stool softener such as laxido. It could be loads of things but definitely see a GP and go from there.
