Virus or flu?

Hardly slept Friday night. Woke up Saturday and just didn't feel great.

By Saturday afternoon I'm on the sofa, shivering, hot and cold. Temperature of 40.5. No appetite and feel sick. Whole body aches.

No sore throat or anything.

Went to bed 7pm and hardly slept. Still in bed and feel horrendous.

Not Covid.

Flu is a virus

If you only tested once it could still be covid, it took 4 days after symptoms started for ours to show positive.
It could be anything though tbh, there is a lot going around. I hope you feel better soon.

I have never felt so ill

A second covid test is still negative

Sounds like standard winter virus tbh. I suddenly, within an hour, came down with a horrendous cold on Thursday and was really really unwell until yesterday. Today I feel 90% better.

I had similar recently that also delivered a nasty chest infection; Gp suggested flu plus chest infection when I had to go back for more anti biotics, based on the sudden high temps.

I’m I’ll now too pneumonia now d and v!!

Oh no, it's really doing the rounds isn't it!

I'm coming out the other side now (I hope) and just feeling very tired and trying to get my appetite back as currently eating very little.
