Sinusitis and fatigue

Hi all ,
i tend to get bouts of sinus pain , this time it’s a headache and pain in cheekbones , more on one side and if I sleep on my left side my teeth get so painful. I never get gunky nose but and sorry for this, inside high up has dry and crusty mucus. I also feel ‘off kilter’ , not quite dizzy but light headed.
the main symptom I have not is really bad fatigue and for the last couple of days have been sleeping and sleeping and still wake up exhausted. Also yesterday was fairly nauseated which was something I didn’t get before . It’s mostly the exhaustion that’s getting to me . Have absolutely no energy. Does anyone else experience sinus problems this way ?

I feel your pain, I've felt the same for the last 6 days, started with tiredness, then the sinus pain arrived, all down one side of my face and nose/ cheek, inside of my mouth hurts, banging headache, queasy and just not well!! Wondering when this is going to end!?
I got steroid spray from the Dr, got told to inhale steam, one minute I think I'm on the mend, the next I feel ill again!
Roll on Summer
Hope you feel better soon

Yes. I have had chronic sinusitis on and off all my life and it makes me feel like absolute crap, even though I don't get horrible gunk either. As soon as I feel any slight sinus pain I also feel terrible, sicky and exhausted. What has helped me the most is steroid nasal spray twice a day (mometasone furoate on prescription) and prescription strength antihistamines (fexofenadine). They really work to stop it in its tracks.

Thanks for replying , that’s so interesting, I often wondered if it really was sinus because I don’t have a blocked or very runny nose.
and exactly like you said Louann, I had this for a few days last week then a bit better but very tired and wiped now , the lack of energy is so frustrating. It’s hard to explain how sick you feel when you don’t have cough etc
inspace … I will definitely try the nasal spray and even take the normal antihistamine I have in the house right now

Have you seen a dentist? If there's something going on in your upper teeth, I think that pain can radiate up into your face. I'm no expert, but it might be worth ruling it out.

I happened to have an appointment with the dentist as well and he said that if there is something going on with an upper molar , sinus makes it worse which it is - great fun!! 😬🤗 I have dizziness, nausea and spent the weekend in bed with sheer exhaustion. It’s doing the rounds where I work apparently

Hello did you get any resolve with this? I’ve had this now since middle January and I am so sick of being like this 😞
