Cold sore help

This is probably a weird thread but I need help.
So Monday just gone I noticed a bump on my lip. I’m prone to biting my lip and it swelling. Didn’t think any different until it got like a yellow head if that makes sense. Showed my mum who said it looks like a cold sore. Never had one before or been near anyone recently that has one.

anyway since then i bought the cold sore patches and kept putting them on but when I look online it shows things that mine doesn’t look like. It’s not weeping and there’s no scab. Any advice? After 5 days should it scab or will it take longer. Hoping it goes away if I’m honest as i have my works do Tuesday and don’t fancy showing my face currently .

as a regular cold sore sufferer I’d have expected it to be well and truly scabbed over by now and on its way out, mine only last 6/7 days.
they start as a blister, they don’t tend to look like a spot that’s full.
No idea what yours could be if not. Maybe post a close up picture

Serial cold sufferer here! It's probably not got a scab because it's been covered. I'd take the patch of now, let it get some air and let it heal.

I agree with the previous poster, take the patch off and let the air get to it so that it dries out.

It won't scab if you keep the patch on.
I'd keep the patch on tbh. You can wear makeup over them.
