It looks like a vein has leaked under the skin and is sore when I touch it. It's an unknown cause of problem.
Do I leave it alone? Do I go to a pharmacy tomorrow?
Do I run around my flat, waving my arms in the air screaming "I'm gonna die"?
I have had 2 dvt's in the past and I'm currently having issues with heartburn.

I occasionally get a burst blood vessel in my finger, at the joint. Don’t know how it happens, but it’s painful when pressed. It goes away after a couple of days.

It's not a DVT. Rest, ice, elevation. It will get better

TheFormidableMrsC · 26/01/2024 22:30

Is that not a ganglion?

BeaRF75 · 26/01/2024 22:33

Ignore it? Most things improve with time.

Caswallonthefox · 26/01/2024 22:51

I think it's in the wrong place for a ganglion.

Thank you for all your replies.
It's in a most inconvenient place, so a jumper rubbing on it hurts.
I shall ice it for a while then ignore it.

Did you ever figure out what this was out did it go away or what I just felt a pain in my wrist and looked down to find the same thing
