My little one age 5 bumped her head on the bed 10 weeks ago. My bed is padded with velvet material.
I was in my girls room putting clothes away and she was in the other room with her older sister. I went into room and she was upset and her forehead had a graze. Her sis said she bumped the bottom jumping off bed.
my daughter is autistic and non speaking.
she was fine in herself and the graze went away after two weeks but 10 weeks on the bump is still there.
I asked my sis in law who’s a nurse practitioner but I’m NZ and showed a photo. She said it’s normal for a bump to last few months on forehead and as long as she is fine in herself. My other sis in law is a children’s nurse and thought it odd to still have the bump.
I can’t remember my other girls ever having a bump on head this long before hit them my kids rarely have head bumps.
as anyone else had a little one with a forehead bump last a while.
