Struggling to understand some blood results for my DD - can anyone help?
She has raised serum prolactin levels (592 mIU/L) and abnormal FAI - raised serum sex hormone binding globulin of 159 nmol/L giving FAI of 1.4%
Only other slightly odd result is Serum HDL cholesterol level of 1.99 mmol/L.
Symptoms are fatigue, anxiety. Periods normal.
I wondered about overactive thyroid, but test back in Sept had TSH of 1.13 mIU/L. Now worried about pituitary tumour.
Can anyone offer any insight, or questions or further testing we should be asking for?
