I am bruising incredibly easily. Pictures of my elbow and thigh attached and both of them have those hard lumpy bits you normally only get with really hard impacts. I don’t know what caused the elbow but the leg was a tap on a car door as I was getting out - literally only a tap - but I was immediately limping in pain. I also have bruises in my bra strap area under my arm and other places you normally do not get bruises like just above the ankle bone - why would it above?
Before anyone asks, many different doctors and nurses have checked this out and I’ve had many blood tests, including in the context of A&E visits where they’ve been worried about much smaller amounts of bruising. Clotting factors etc are fine, liver function a bit rubbish but shouldn’t be causing this at this level. So just casting the net a bit wider to see if anyone else has experienced this medical mystery.
Also just to add context I have mild anorexia and have had substance use issues in the past.
