Im having a small op on Mon 31st March

I am apparently meant to let them know of any illness in the 8 weeks before hand

I have a cold today, bit headachy, snotty!! and one of my glands is sore

Im not really ill, dont feel unwell

But could this stop my op going ahead?

should I contact them about it ? or would I look bit silly!

I would call and ask them just to be sure

Good luck with the op though if it goes ahead.

At this time of year it'd be a nightmare if you couldnt have an op if you'd been ill within 8 weeks. I don't know if you should phone them though, it depends what the op is for I suppose. If its nothing to do with immune system, throat, sinuses etc then personally I'd wait and see how I was feeling on tuesday. But then I'm not a doctor and that might be really bad advice!

It depends!

Can you be a little bit more specific about what sort of op it will be?

If you are fully recovered from your cold, it will probably be fine.
