Private dentist

Hi,

I am going to a private dentist as I can't get registered as an NHS patient as I can't find anywhere accepting them.

I know I will need a filling. Do I need to pay per filling or is it just a standard price if I need more than one?

You’ll usually need to pay per filling. You might need to ring round as private dentists are quite busy these days and some won’t take patients unless they are ‘members’ on their dental plan.

You pay per filling. My dentist charges around £250 for a white filling.

You pay for EVERYTHING .... mine do an initial new patient exam which included check up and xrays .... and a big bloody invoice of works to be done - of which I have to say I cherry picked what I could afford and what caused me most pain!
